14.01 We Come to Kill, by Sun or Moon
“We Come to Kill, by Sun or Moon” As the season turns from summer to fall, the gobos continue to make Gobo Land their own. Much can happen over the course of a few months. It is a time of many ups and downs for the the dirty dozen. There were a couple disagreements about the material composition of their fort. Why would there not be a few more? Especially as more and more wood goes up without a stone brick in sight? It is a time to work hard, rest hard (but don’t rest too hard!), and perhaps play hard if the moment presents itself. But first it would be best to get some essentials in place. Maybe to finally listen to some helpful advise? Or perhaps replace something that was broken? These are just a few highlights during the construction of Fort Gobo over the time.
Autumn is coming to an end and the season begins to turn once more towards winter. The fort is nearly complete, the walkway that will become the parapet is almost finished and the first of four towers is going up. But it is still just an encampment. They pulled the tents inside the protective walls but it is a far cry from a true permanent shelter. But the chilly grasp of winter is the least of their concerns. Having left behind the raiders, I am sure that the gobos were careful in covering their trail. It may have worked against them, but not against trained hunters. It is only a matter of time before they picked up the scent.
Be careful out there.
