23.07 Special Assignment
“Special Assignment” What? Betrayals? Foul play? Why would Nob be worried about such things? It must have been something witnessed long ago. Nak has been very open, pointing out concerns and giving advise. But this isn’t the first time the sword-wielding gobo has had a whispered discussion about there current situation. Or just came out with a plan that might not be looked on favorably by their host. While Nob wasn’t privy to any of those, it only takes seeing one moment of plotting to be on the look out for others.

In the tower's upper room, seen from behind, Nob approaches and sets a hand upon Gnome-Hob's shoulder and the armored herald turns to look at the gobo leader.
Puccini, off-screen: "Remember, you'll understand anything said."
Panel 2
The scene shifts to a behind the back view of Puccini, arms extended as he makes his address.
Puccini: "However, they won't understand you."
Nob, whispering off-screen: "<Hob... Watch Poo.>"

The scene shifts once again to Gnome-Nik, dagger in hand, as a cross-armed Gnome-Nak leans close to whisper inaudibly.
Puccini, off-screen: "So let me do the talking."
Nob, whispering off-screen: "<Watch Nik and Nak.>"

The scene shifts back to Gnome-Hob, who turns a bit more and places a reassuring hand on Nob's arm.
Nob, whispering: "<No betrayals.>"
Puccini, off-screen: "So let me do the talking."
Hob, whispering: "<No betrayals.>"
