“Winter’s Coming” Apparently, magic isn’t the only thing that Puccini is frugal with. But even the thriftiest of spendthrifts needs to spend. Usually it’s just on the essentials, but money is exchanged.

Be careful out there.

Panel 1
Back at the bar inside the White Bear, Zathrus accepts a few coins from one of two patrons and glances with a grin towards Puccini (offscreen) as he enters.
Zathrus: "Welcome back. How did..."

Panel 2
Her expression turns to astonishment - with a touch of whimsy - as she takes the new arrivals (offscreen) under closer investigation. She leans in, resting the hand clenching the coins on the bar top while placing the other on her hip. The paying patron turns to leave with her glass of wine and the other turns his head slightly at the bartenders sudden motion forward.
Zathrus: "I don't believe it! End times are nigh. These gnomes actually got you to shop?"

Panel 3
The scene shifts, catching a passerby leaning away and glaring at Puccini, as the wizard throws his arms up in exasperation, causing his cape to sway towards the man's face. To his right, Hob and Nak have paused in their procession to take in this new development. The former still holding the twine-tied box close in a guarded hug while the later smirks, carrying a similar package under the right arm, freeing up the left. Both appear as gnomes, magically disguised by Puccini's illusory magic.
Puccini: "Hilarious. It's Whitefall! They needed something warm."

Panel 4
The shot tightens on the two "gnomes". Hob's eyes roll as Nak takes a deep bow, swinging the free arm across in a dramatic fashion.
Zathrus, offscreen: "And very stylish!"
