2.09 Classic Room
“Classic Room” You open the door to a 10′ by 10′ room. There is an orc guarding a chest. Strike that. The group of four from outside open the door to a 10′ by 10′ room. There is a goblin inside that classic room about to steal gold from a chest. The goblin quickly flees through a hole in the wall? Considering the opposition and the fact that Hob is without a weapon, this seems to be the best course of action. This strip should be familiar to any old school Dungeons & Dragons gamer although, for the life of me, I can’t remember where I seen it. At first, I thought it was the sample dungeon from the Dungeon Master’s Guide of old, where the thief is attached by ghouls… but let’s stick to topic.
This is the very first time any of our little gobo friends have seen this group but will it be the last? Knowing the current streak of luck they are having, probably not. And that is not all. They still have the big guy to contend with. With all of these factors coming together, something has to give. What else could go wrong and what could possibly happen next? We’ll just have to wait until the next issue to see how this all pans out.
