“Technical Difficulties” It’s all true! Every word. Still isn’t going to soften Zip’s stare. That travois of goods looks heavy, and I’m sure our crossbow-gobo is looking for some more comfortable place to rest after a long day’s work. Just in case there is any confusion over the crystal balls, this one is getting fixed, not that one.

Be careful out there.

Panel 1
A wide shot of the main floor interior of Puccini's tower takes in the return of the four gobos, with Zip leading the way. Whiskit flutters in with hands padding the air, beckoning the crimson cross-gobo to listen. Zip maintains the pace without a word, pulling the travois ladened with a large sack. The only reply is a narrow-eyed glare thrown in Whiskit's direction. Trailing behind the travois are Tok and Bam, hands up to theirs mouths to muffle their mirth and conceal their conversation. Tik is the last one to have entered and, with arms raised to the side and a puzzled look, poses a question to Whiskit.
Whiskit: "<Sorry! I wasn't watching the door!>"
Tik: "<What happened, Wiz?">"

Panel 2
Flipping to a tighter view from the opposite angle, Tok is stepping out of view behind Whiskit as the little homunculus turns, defeated, to send the approaching Tik a reply. The gobo is just coming into view and offers up a left hand for emphasis.
Whiskit: "<I was... stuck fixing a technical issue.>"
Tik: "<Maybe I can help?>"

Panel 3
In a flashback, Whiskit turns the page of a large book, the solid backed book stand conceals most of the title, with only "Riparazione - - cani" visible. A pointed-tipped paint brush is held tight in the homunculus's mouth, its bristles heavily loaded it a viscous substance, which is slowly forming a drip. The same substance is coating a portion of a cracked crystal ball... as well as Whiskit's fingers and left paw. One the surface of the work table are two opened containers, one with "Colla Sovrana" painted on in gold and the other etched with "Solvente Universale". The former's bottom and lid sit in a thick puddle of its content, the same as that on the brush and sphere.
Narrative Box: "Earlier"
Whiskit, voiceover: "More... magical than technical, actually."
